After removing all the permissions for other people on his outlook profile, his assistant still gets copies of his calendar invitations? Not sure, again, if anything else was fixed, but I'll let this sit and get with him again in the morning. I can't tell if what I've done has fixed his duplicate reminders issue, but I did find something else weird. There are no rules in place in Outlook, there are no options for anyone to view his profile period that I can find that are turned on. I went through and removed all his delegates and his assistant's ability to approve and even view his calendar. I've tried all the above, except the MFCMAPI tool so far. Finally got time to look at this by setting a meeting time on his calendar to block off the time from his other activities.

That's an awesome program!!! Thanks for that! Hoping to get with my President's pc tomorrow, so I'll update when I find out what I can.

Just checked that MFCMAPI program out on my Outlook.

If only one, then you know the actions you need to take to clean it up. Wait for the meeting reminder to come up and see if one or two pop up.

You can then right click and delete them.Īs a test you could find the a upcoming event that may be duplicated and then delete one. From there you can see the contents of the calendar, which if it's something corrupt in the calendar should show duplicate meetings for each meeting. You launch the app, logon to the Outlook profile, double click the users mailbox in the top view, then "Advanced", "Open Special Folder" and choose "Calendar". MS also has a few articles, it can be a dangerous tool as you are going into the debug level of Outlook.

Even better, you won’t need to use any VBA macro code to do it either. Is there a way to globally add or modify Reminders to all or a selection of existing Calendar appointments without needing to open and adjust them one-by-one?įortunately, to add or change Reminders for multiple Calendar appointments, you won’t have to do this one-by-one. I’ve imported a Calendar from another user into my own Outlook Calendar and noticed that these appointments do not have any Reminders set.Īlso, as I’ve moved, I want to adjust the Reminder time for several of my own existing appointments as well.
